• Heather Danboise

  DVM

  Dr. Danboise came to Shop City Animal Hospital in November of 2002 as an Associate Veterinarian. She brought with her several years of veterinary experience from working as a kennel assistant and veterinary assistant, to working as a veterinarian. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in May of 1999. Dr. Danboise became our Hospital Medical Director in March 2007 and has applied her knowledge and related experience to her position, to help the associate veterinarians as well as the technicians and receptionists. Dr. Danboise enjoys spending time with her husband Trevor, and her "kids", her 3 cats Acorn, Clue, and Eric, and her 2 dogs Miguel and Rayne.

• Jeff Rubin

  DVM

  Dr. Jeff Rubin joined Shop City Animal Hospital in June of 2012. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies in June 2011. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Cortland as well as a Master's in exercise and sports sciences from Florida International University. Dr. Rubin did an externship at Shop City in the summer of 2009 so he was already familiar with our hospital staff as well as clients. Dr. Rubin has interests in canine rehabilitation, acupuncture, and veterinary chiropractic. When not at Shop City, Dr. Rubin enjoys exercising as well as hiking. He has three yorkshire terriers named Lexie, Zoey, and Emily.

• Paul Kretow

  DVM

  Dr. Paul Kretow grew up in Fairport, NY. He completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University. After making the long journey across the Olentangy River, he finished his schooling and received his doctorate from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kretow is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Dr. Kretow and his wife, Dr. Elise Craft, have recently moved from the northern tundra known as Minneapolis, Minnesota. He says he is excited to be closer to family again and is looking forward to family visits no longer requiring a trip to the airport. Dr. Kretow and his wife Elise have a daughter named Ryann, with a second on the way. In addition to human children, the other "children" of the household include two Jack Russell's, Jinx and Sir William Bean, as well as one cat , Charles "Cat Face" Jackson. Dr. Kretow's leisure activities include relaxing with his family, downhill mountain biking, skiing, and playing hockey. When not at the hospital, he is typically doing grounds crew work at home or playing with his daughter. Dr. Kretow enjoys working with clients from all aspects of life and prviding the best care possible for your special family member!.
